Marketing says everyone uses everything. The Census is the real answer: an annual survey of the gear, supplements, wearables, and tools in real athletes’ routines — from pro training rooms to college programs to weekend warriors.

Two minutes. Anonymous. Pro and college answers are what make this data rare — but the Census counts every level, because the weekend warrior’s money is just as real. Results publish free, right here and in The ESS Insider.

Responses are published only in aggregate — never with your name or email. The email is used once, to send you the results.

Why this exists:most “what the pros use” claims are sponsorships in disguise. The Census replaces claims with counted answers, and the aggregate results feed the same Performance Database every Verdict lives in. No individual response is ever published or sold.
